About
Rocky Smith is the founder and director of the Oregon Ghost Conference and Northwest Ghost Tours. An art teacher at Oregon City High School, local historian, and paranormal investigator, he has documented nearly 100 haunted locations in Oregon City since 1995 and brought the conference to Seaside in 2016.

Walk the haunted streets of Seaside after dark with an experienced guide who knows every shadow and story along the Oregon Coast. These small-group tours visit documented locations with active paranormal history, combining local folklore with firsthand investigator accounts. Dress warm - the coast has its own kind of chill after sunset.

Paranormal Movie Night
The main stage transforms into a late-night theater for paranormal film screenings. Settle in after the evening events wind down for curated films chosen for their connection to the weekend's themes. A low-key way to close out the night with fellow attendees - bring a blanket and your favorite snacks.

Gallery Reading
A gallery reading is a group mediumship experience where one or more mediums deliver messages from spirit to audience members in real time. Unlike a private session, gallery readings let you witness the process of spirit communication as it unfolds - even if you are not the one receiving a message, you will see evidential mediumship in action. Seating is limited to keep the energy focused.

Haunted Artifacts Seance
An intimate seance conducted in the presence of documented haunted objects collected from investigations across the Pacific Northwest. Each artifact has its own case file and history of paranormal activity. Participants sit in a controlled environment while a medium facilitates contact with whatever energy remains attached to these items. Not for the faint of heart - previous sessions have produced measurable phenomena.

A Saturday night social event that puts your psychic abilities to the test through a series of games and challenges designed by experienced practitioners. Remote viewing exercises, psychometry rounds, and intuition-based team competitions make this one of the most interactive events of the weekend. Whether you are a seasoned psychic or a total beginner, the format levels the playing field and keeps it fun.

Seance in Seaside
A traditional seance experience held in one of the convention center's more intimate rooms. A skilled medium guides the circle through the process of opening communication with the other side, using time-tested methods passed down through the Spiritualist tradition. The group is kept small to maintain the energy, and participants are walked through what to expect before the session begins.

Metaphysical Seance & Hypnotic Experience
A two-hour session that combines seance work with guided hypnotic techniques to access altered states of consciousness. The first half establishes contact through traditional seance methods while the second half uses hypnotic induction to deepen the group's receptivity to spirit communication. Participants report heightened sensory experiences, vivid impressions, and a feeling of expanded awareness that lingers well after the session ends.

Learn about herbalism, intention-setting, and folk magic practices in a social atmosphere that feels more like a gathering of friends than a formal workshop. Experienced practitioners and the simply curious are equally welcome. Wine is provided - bring your own curiosity about the craft.

A guided group energy healing ritual designed to close out your conference experience with intention. Participants form a circle and work through a sequence of breathwork, visualization, and hands-on energy techniques facilitated by experienced healers.
