David M. Habben is a cemetery historian and photographer based in Boise, Idaho, who has been documenting cemeteries and their symbolism for over 20 years. He teaches classes on the lost language of gravestones and leads historical cemetery tours, and volunteers at the Old Idaho State Penitentiary and Idaho State History Museum.
